Job Title: Communication Intern
Job Location:  Johannesburg
Duration: 30 working days with possibility of extension
Start date: Immediately
Stipend: R300 per day

The purpose of the Communication Intern is to develop content. This will include sourcing and writing copy and gathering images from CSA staff in the various offices and landscapes. High quality content and images are needed to capture the work and impact of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Produce creative communications content that can be packaged to suit different needs within the organisation including but not limited to the annual report, fact sheets, website and social media platforms, short digital updates or newsletters and donor reports.

Requirements:

• A qualification in communications or journalism and or relevant writing or communications experience in the NGO sector, media or marketing
• Ability to conduct research (online and through interviews) and develop written content based on your research
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for people and the environment
• Strong people skills
• Ability to manage deadlines
