Financial Control Division, Finance Portfolio at Rietvlei
CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SUPERVISOR (HAY BAND – M)
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
To effectively monitor and review the application and implementation of Contracts Payment Procedure and Rand
Water Supplier Contract’s terms and conditions in the processing and payment of Rand Water Contractors.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Monitor and review Contracts Payment Process Administration Process
Monitor and review adherence and application of Rand Water Contract terms and conditions to Contracts Payment Process
Review Rand Water Contractors Payments, ensuring validity, accuracy, completeness and compliance to Vat Legislation
Review and Authorise Contract Payment reconciliations
Management of Critical Supplier and the payments thereof
Monitor and maintain the GRIR Account on current
Monitor,, maintain and review Contracts Creditors Age Analysis
Provide input to Contracts Section monthly reporting
Manage Team’s financial year end deliverables
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience
Matric/Grade 12
A 3 year Diploma in Accounting
Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience as a Supervisor in a Capital Expenditure environment with similar responsibilities
2 years’ working experience in procurement or credit environment
Advanced computer literacy in MS Office Suite and SAP (AP Module)
Desirable qualifications
Diploma in Project Management
Diploma in Project Accounting
