Purpose of the job
To Implement and provide an effective and efficient Provincial Corporate Services support to SITA provincial office
management and staff, with particular emphasis on Management Knowledge Management.
Key Responsibility Areas
Implement Enterprise Content Management strategy to guide formalization of configurable items, Implement and
manage document configuration management services to ensure process alignment and implementation in
accordance with business requirements; Support and advice on more than one specialist sub-discipline (e.g.
Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruitment and Selection and Career Development) to multiple
departments to enhance strategic Human Capital management within the lines of business.
Implement relevant legislation, policies, procedures and processes to mitigate potential Human Capital Risk to the organization.
Support Knowledge and Innovation Management Strategy aligned to the Internal IT Strategic Plan to ensure the
provision of Information and Knowledge Services. Implement Knowledge Management and Innovation strategy by
developing services to facilitate Knowledge Harvesting and transfer.
Oversee facilities, physical security and administration to ensure efficient and effective customer-oriented service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
National Diploma/Degree in Library Science/Human Resource/ Public Admin/Facilities
Management and/or equivalent. Experience: 3 – 5 experience in knowledge management/Human Resource
Management/Facilities management in a corporate/public sector organisation.
Technical Competencies Description
In-depth and demonstrable knowledge and competence in Knowledge Management, Facilities Management,
Performance Management, Training and Development; Labour Relations; Employee wellness; Organisation
Development; Project Management; Customer Relations; Talent Management; Various and relevant legislations:
State Information Technology Act, Company’s Act, King Code III, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury
Regulations, Tax Laws, PAIA; NARS; Copyright Act; Intellectual Property Rights Act; Labour Legislation: Basic
Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Skills
Development Levies Act, National Skills Development Strategy; Project Management; Labour Relations; Financial
management; Investigation and research; Human Capital Management; Human Capital Development; Career
Management; Conflict Management. Effective negotiating skills, Report writing skills, Records Management;
Computer Literacy; High Performance Orientation.
Other Special Requirements: The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant, Line Management, and unions
representatives (if applicable).
