Purpose of the role:
As a customer service engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of internal sales. You will be responsible for solution sales, technical problem solving, invoicing, credits and all admin relating to sales. You will also be required to assist in meeting company monthly sales targets.
You may also be asked to do additional tasks by Management.
Duties and responsibilities:
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Strong detail orientation and communication/listening.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
Handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are dealt with professionally and on time.
Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone
Provides technical support to customers by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems
Required skills and knowledge:
Diploma, Certificate, Electrical Trade or equivalent preferably in industrial electronics.
2-3 years Internal Sales experience
Any other course or qualification with a focus on sales would be advantageous.
Proven technical sales experience. (2-3 years)
Hands-on knowledge of general industrial control components. Preferably 2 years and up.
Must be an effective confident communicator with good interpersonal people skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to effectively work as part of a team.
Must be able to work effectively under pressure situations when required.
Willing to work beyond the normal work hours if and when required.
English language proficiency and preferably Afrikaans as well
