Job Title: Head of IT (JHB)
Location: Randburg

Duties & Responsibilities:
ENVIRONMENT:

THE strong leadership and expertise of a highly ambitious Head of IT with at least 10 years overall experience in a Senior Management role is sought by a leading Joburg Business Process Outsourcer. The successful candidate will also require around 5 years’ experience in the following: Recruitment, Conflict & Performance Management; IT Governance (Risk, Compliance, IT Framework); IT Strategy; Budgets; TCP/IP; VMware; Hyper-V; Windows; Data Security, Encryption Protocols, Penetration Tests and ±3 years Project Management experience. You must have a good grasp of English with the ability to communicate ideas well – particularly over the phone. Any experience in addition with Linux, Exchange, Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Asterisk PBX, IT Call Centre Management & POPIA – will prove hugely beneficial.

SLA Agreements.
Procurement of IT Equipment.

TCP/IP, Networking (incl QoS), Infrastructure & Design.
Firewalls & VPN.
Backup Technologies.
Data Security, Encryption Protocols, Penetration Tests.
AV/EDR (Anti-Virus, Endpoint Detection & Response).
Web Servers.
Windows Desktop (> 50 networked).
Windows Server.
Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V).
±3 Years experience –

Project Management.
Other –

Good grasp of English and the ability to communicate an idea well, over the phone.
Motivated, energetic and enthusiastic.
Advantageous –

Linux environment.
MS Exchange.
Relational Databases (Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL).

Cloud Technology.
