ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic family-owned Agricultural business in Tarlton is seeking a Filler Operator to operate, monitor and maintain the Sterilizer and Filling machines. The essence of your job is to ensure the machines operate well and do not stop. Your goal is to keep the machines well maintained and set up so that wastage/breakdowns are kept under control.

DUTIES:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the following equipment:
• Pre-heater
• De-aerator
• Homogenizer
• Sterilizer
• Cooling system & air compressor
• 750ml IPI Filler
• 330ml IPI Filler

• Maintain all control paperwork and reports.
• Clean your environment after production.
• Assist in the maintenance of all equipment during the slow seasons.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Required Skills and Abilities

• Machine Setter
• Basic Fitting knowledge
• Read and write
• Knowledge of filling machines (IPI, Tetrapak etc)
• Knowledge of sterilization and CIP procedures

Education and Experience

• Any prior experience with aseptic packaging machinery (IPI, Tetra etc.)
• Matric
• Any Machine setter qualifications or experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to handle the physical requirements of moving around the machines
• Must be able to handle the physical requirements of cleaning.
