Is your organisation looking for funding for an arts and culture project? Time’s running out to apply.
Who Can Apply?
Registered NGOs, NPOs and CBOs (excluding close corporations) that are involved in the visual arts and the performing arts, eg music, dance, drama, literary arts, crafts, the humanities and youth development, can apply via the annual funding process for funding for their arts and culture projects, programmes and productions at festivals.
How Will Funds be Allocated?
Funding will be provided to projects that will promote, develop and preserve arts and culture in the Western Cape, especially projects that:

The allocation of funding is guided by a funding policy.
HOW TO APPLY
You will need to submit a completed application form together with the following documents:

Latest financial statements/audited financial statements.
Business plan/proposal.
The constitution or founding articles of the organisation.
The signed form from the auditor.
Bank-stamped form stating banking details.
Verifying letter (on letterhead of organisation) confirming that effective, efficient and transparent financial management is practiced by the organisation in terms of financial accountability regarding the Public Finance management Act (PFMA) section 38 (j).
The available minutes of the latest AGM (Annual General Meeting).
A copy of the organisations NPO registration certificate
Deadline for applications:
The closing date for 2017 applications is 31 March 2017 at 16:00.
No faxed or emailed applications will be accepted.
Applications must be posted, couriered or hand-delivered.
No late applications will be considered.
Funding is limited.
Unfortunately timeous submission of applications does not guarantee funding.
Deadline is 4pm on 31 March 2017.
