You will be a member of our dedicated Business Continuity and Resilience Services team specialising in one or more of the following:

• Crisis management
• Resilience/continuity of business operations
• Resilience/continuity of technology

1. Crisis management and planning Extensive experienceYou will have experience in designing crisis planning and exercise solutions, including complex simulation scenarios with significant business context. You will be able to operate at senior executive and board levels.

• Designing crisis response structures
• Preparing crisis plans
• Establishing objectives for exercises
• Designing complex, business oriented scenarios
• Facilitating exercises
• Delivering large multi-site exercises
• Post exercise reporting
• Specifying and sourcing crisis centre technology solutions

2. Resilience/continuity of business operations Extensive experienceYou will have experience in gathering and interpreting recovery requirements, evaluating strategic continuity options, managing implementation of business continuity solutions, plans, and designing tests You will have significant experience in several of the following areas:

• Reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of business continuity solutions
• Establishing appropriate governance
• Conducting business impact and risk analysis
• Integrating business and technology continuity
• Defining options for business continuity
• Preparing business continuity plans
• Developing appropriate training and awareness programmes

3. Resilience/continuity of technology Extensive experienceYou will have experience in translating business continuity requirements into an appropriate technology architecture and IT continuity strategy. You will be able to manage the transition plan, establish the test approach and influence decision making at CTO, CIO and board levels. You will have significant experience in several of the following areas:

• Data centre architecture
• Network architecture and resilience
• Data replication, back-up and recovery
• Voice communications architecture and resilience
• IT service continuity processes (ITiL, PAS77)
• IT service continuity catalogue
• IT DR/resilience testing at all levels

Developing experienceYou will learn to design resilient or time critical recovery solutions (from application to data centre, including testing plans), to review and critically advise on DR/resilience improvement programmes.
Key Tasks

• Leading or supporting business development and marketing
• Planning and delivering project work for clients
• Communicating within Deloitte and clients, both orally and in writing
• Building long-term relationships at appropriate levels
• Maintaining, developing and sharing your knowledge

Relevant Degree
To work in our Business Continuity and Resilience team, you must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to develop relationships and influence client staff and managers at all levels You will have a good degree and demonstrated experience (developing or extensive) in one or more of the areas defined above. You will  have experience of engagement planning and delivery to meet client specifications in either IT or Business Continuity programmes within budget and on time.
