Main Purpose
The role will be the administrator of a large Microsoft SCCM infrastructure. Significant expertise in the distribution of packaged applications to workstation and server environments using SCCM is required.
This role also includes managing a Citrix Farm. Must be able to provide support on various applications that are published in the farm.
Backup to the Snr. BT Utilities Administrator on managing and maintaining the environment and the BT Imaging administrators.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (qualified)

Desired Qualification

MCITP System Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) or System Management Server 2003 (SMS).

Minimum Experience
Matric with MCSE or an equivalent and equivalent IT diploma;
A minimum of at least 2 years SMS/SCCM working experience;
Strong maintenance and support of SMS or SCCM;
At least 3 years working experience on desktop support;
At least 3 years server administration experience required;
At least 2 years Active Directory experience;
Application packaging, testing and deployment;
The ability to analyse statistical information and report on if required;
Incident and problem analysis, root cause analysis and resolution;
Strong working experience in Windows Installer, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Operations System Deployment, Windows PE, Altiris; Ghost and Imaging technologies;
Working experience on Citrix Metaframe.

Desired Experience
3 years working experience in a SMS /SCCM;
1 year image creation and configurations management experience.
