Purpose:

• The Deloitte information security responsibility requires that it be designated to specific individuals and that the assignment be documented. This assignment is important in providing an organizational focus and importance to security and to pinpoint responsibility.
• Safeguarding information and systems requires information security activity to be organized effectively throughout the organization. Accordingly, this area covers the organizational arrangements for the Security Administrator.

The Information Security Administrator is tasked with the organisational arrangements for:

• Provide technical input for the development of the Information Security Program (Information Security Strategy);
• Provide technical input for the information security business cases;
• Documenting secure configuration standards for information technology solutions;
• Enforce all the Information Security Standards, Policies and Processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability (CIA) of the Deloitte Information Systems;
• Implement Information Security Controls to reduce the likelihood of Threats, Risks, and Vulnerabilities materializing;
• Identifying the use of relevant security technologies and tools;
• Actively participate in Information Security Incidents in order to ensure compliance as required by the Incident Management process;
• Actively investigate Information Security incidents and perform the root cause analysis;
• Actively participate in the Information Security Function of Deloitte at any corporate meeting;
• Providing technical advice to those who install, administer and update computer based access control systems;
• Providing reports on all incidents or other suspected Information Security Risks;
• Manage the third party access request forms for authorization and compliance to Information Security Standards;
• Providing technical guidance about the risks and control measures associated with new and emerging information system technologies;
• Manage information security related calls and change requests;
• Preserve the confidentially, integrity and availability for all information technology related systems within the Deloitte environment and report any non compliance matters to the Supervisor  Information Security

• Network Plus (N+) and Security Plus (S+) working towards MSCE + Security or CISSP
• 2 Years Security Experience in two security domains
• Service Delivery
• IT Infrastructure
• Technical knowledge of information security technologies;
• Technical knowledge of TCP IP Networks, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft ISA Server Firewall 1, Business Applications and Microsoft SQL Server
• Broad technical knowledge of Information and technological developments;
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies;
• Researching of new technologies and making recommendations for use within the firm;
• Researching of current technologies and making recommendations of how the firm can further leverage off them
