Main PurposeLogistical organisation and project management of the delivery of learning programmes, conferences and events. Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel, conference/event management, public relations and/or project management / Secretarial experience with event management component
  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP expereince is advantageous

Key Performance Areas

  1. Co-ordination of learning programmes/events which entails pre-planning, management during the conference/event and evaluation and wrap- up after the conference/event
  2. Financial administration
  3. Champion role
  4. Coaching/mentoring of junior staff

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Matric
  • Own vehicle with valid drivers’ licence

Desired Qualifications

  • Formal study in Conference & Event Management and/or Project Management
  • Basic secretarial experience is advantageous
