SALARY : R227 802 per annum, Level 8

CENTRE : SA Army Headquarters (Chief Directorate Force Structure) Dequar Road,
Pretoria.

 

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12. National Diploma/ Degree in Management Services with 10 years’
experience. JE Qualified (Essential) Solid. Structure background of the
Organisation. Understanding of Management and Renewal Services principles,
relevant Policies, Standards. Understanding of Job Evaluation. Basic planning
and organising skills. Special requirements (skills needed): Think Analytical.
Computer Literacy (Ms Office Suite). Numerical and Literacy. Facilitation,
Presentation, Interpretation and good communication skills.

 

DUTIES : Conduct Job Evaluation. Prepare Job Evaluation pre-interview questionnaires
and Moderating forms. Compilation of Job Description. Conducting interview.
Prepare standard reports of job evaluation results. Presentation to Moderating
Committee. Maintain and update the JE database and statistics of all job
evaluations completed.

Create the database according to DIMS guidelines.
Allocate unique numbers to all posts on the approved SA Army establishment.
Ensure the capturing of SA Army data on the DOD database at DIMS on a
monthly basis. Administer the SA Army Equate docking station. Update the SA
Army Equate database. Render a comprehensive Management and Renewal
Services advisory on the job evaluation.
