SALARY : R123 738 per annum
CENTRE : 44 Parachute Regiment, Tempe, Bloemfontein.

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement of Grade 12. Previous cleaning experience would be
advantage. Special requirements (Skills needed). Ability to communicate
effectively (verbal) in English. Basic knowledge of health and safety prescripts.
Knowledge of basic maintenance for complex machinery. Knowledge of basic
hand tools and cleaning equipment. Ability to operate cleaning machines. Ability
to perform routine tasks. Ability to work in a team and individually. Basic
numeracy and literacy skills. Must be physically fit to perform duties. Ability to
comply with time tables.

DUTIES : Perform administrative and related functions wrt parachutes. Inspect and confirm
safety status. Ensure completeness of logbook and maintain job
records/registers. Perform service schedule of equipment. Identify rejects and
request for rework. Pack parachutes according to the OEM schedule.
Successfully dispatch parachutes for storage. Optimal use of maintenance
resources. Maintain and adhere to agreed development plan. Accurately capture
task data and timely finalise task related administration.
