REQUIREMENTS : ABET or grade 10 with relevant experience. Poses good communication skills,
be able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays. Be able to rotate
when required. Poses physical strength and be able to cope with physical
demands of position. Be able to work as a team

 

DUTIES : Clean bathrooms, showers, toilets, wards, departments, passages and waiting
areas. Dust wash, scrub and polish floors, walls, windows, stairs fire escapes,
side walls and cleaning matters as delegated. Clean equipment, clean and wash
dust bins and remove waste. Operate heavy cleaning machines. Be able to
rotate within the scope of work and assist in messenger duties. Cleaning utensils
and adhere to Health Waste Management.

NOTE : In order to comply with the provisions of sub regulation (I), the employer shall

any other essential examination that in the opinion of the occupational health
practitioner is desirable in order to enable the practitioner to do a proper
evaluation. Periodic medical examinations and tests in cases where a HBA is
known to be capable of causing persistent or latent infections which: In the light
of present knowledge, are un diagnosable, until signs or symptoms develop and
it can have particularly long incubation periods. It can result in an illness which is
recurrent in spite of treatment and are known to have serious long-term effects.
All tests and examinations as contemplated in paragraphs (a) and (b) shall be
conducted according to a written medical protocol.
