MAINTENANCE OFFICER: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT 2 POSTS REF NO: HR 5/1/2/3/170
SALARY : R148 584 per annum.
CENTRE : Compensation Fund, Pretoria.
REQUIREMENTS : A recognized three-year diploma/ degree or equivalent / and trade test in
Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Plumbing /
Carpentry. Experience in Operating specialised equipment, tools or hardware.
Knowledge: DoL and Compensation Fund objectives and business functions,
Maintenance sub-directorate goals and performance requirements,
Compensation Fund Services ,Compensation Fund Value Chain and business
processes , Relevant Fund policies, procedures and processes Customer Service
(Batho Pele Principles) , Specialised tools, equipment and hardware , Required
health and safety policies and procedures , Relevant external building industry
legislation, norms and standards, Technical Knowledge. Skills: Required
Technical Proficiency, Business Writing, Specialised tools, equipment and
hardware, Auxiliary Services.
DUTIES : Ensure that maintenance duties and general upkeeps are carried out in various
maintenance premises, carry out duties to ensure the general upkeep and
maintenance of the premises. Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety
standards, legislation and Fund quality standards and procedures. Performing
(routine) Maintenance. Assist with the effective operations of the fund.
