SENIOR ACCOUNTING CLERK 3 POSTS REF NO: NDT20/2015
12 months fixed term employment contract
SALARY : R148 584 per annum, plus a monthly allowance of 37% in lieu of service benefits
CENTRE : Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 certificate plus appropriate financial experience. Candidate must have
thorough knowledge of financial matters relating to the listed duties as minimum
requirement for appointment. Knowledge required: Treasury regulations, Public
Financial Management Act and Finance/Financial management. Skills required:
Computer literacy, Numeracy, Accuracy and Communication (written and verbal),
Knowledge of BAS, LOGIS and PERSAL systems. Ability to work under pressure.

DUTIES : Create and maintain BAS and LOGIS Entities; Printing and reconciliation of
disbursements; Filling and control of financial batches; Verify and authorise credit
transfer payments; Administer BAS and LOGIS Payments; Process payments and
journals; Calculate advance amount for domestic and international claims, Capture
Travel and Subsistence claims on PERSAL; Attend to queries.
