POST : SENIOR AUDITOR: FORENSIC AUDIT AND INVESTIGATION (Reference:S8/3/2013/918)
SALARY : R212 106 per annum (Level 8)
CENTRE : DIRECTORATE: FORENSIC AUDIT AND INVESTIGATION (PRETORIA)

 

REQUIREMENTS :

A relevant degree or equivalent qualification. * Preferably 3 years credible and applicable experience (data analysis, financial management, legal, investigation (including police investigation), auditing), of which at least 2 years should be in the Forensic Audit and Investigation field. * Membership of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is recommended. * Knowledge of the following: The Standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors, * Risk based Forensic Audit and Investigation methodologies and procedures. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Interviewing skills. * Analytical and problem solving ability. * Staff and interpersonal skills. * Project management skills. * Computer skills. * Business process analysis skills. * Risk and Control assessment skills

 
DUTIES :

Perform preliminary reviews and data analysis for detection of fraud and irregularities as an input to Forensic Audit and Investigation plan projects and perform less complex Forensic Audit and Investigation plan projects allocated to this position according to the deliverables and timelines defined on the approved Forensic Audit and Investigation projects’ planning memorandums. * Report on the progress and deliverables of the less complex Forensic Audit and Investigation annual plan projects allocated to this position on a weekly basis to the Manager. * Conduct follow-up audits and project manage the execution of follow-up audits on the less complex Forensic Audit projects allocated to this position within 2 years after completion of the audit project.* Administer the office administration tasks allocated to tis position.
