ASSISTANT MANAGER: MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTING AT FREE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY: 4 POSTS REF NO:FSPT 030/14
SALARY : R270 804 per annum, Level 9
CENTRE : Bloemfontein

 

REQUIREMENTS : B. Com degree or relevant diploma with Accounting III as a major subject. A
minimum of three years working experience in a financial reporting/ accounting
environment. Advance experience in word processing, spreadsheets and
presentation software packages Recommendation: Experience in compilation of
financial statements.

 

DUTIES : Oversee the preparation of financial information for the municipalities in the
province. Oversee, facilitate and monitor the submission of mandatory financial
information within the province. Assist clients in the compilation of annual
financial statements (AFS). Oversee the provisioning of financial management
support to clients. Perform ad-hoc activities. Monitor the preparation of monthly
ledger reconciliations. Monitor progress in the implementation of the audit action
plans.
