Job Title: Procurement Administrator
Location: Johannesburg North
Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a Procurement role which entails directing, optimizing and co-ordinating the full supplier cycle from preparation of the supplier order to delivery of the goods to our warehouse.
MAIN DUTIES:
Accurate processing/capturing of purchase orders
Administration of documents
Checking stock availability
Handling of returned stock.
Communicating with internal account managers (sales) regarding incoming stock and availability of stock.
Maintaining a sale out and inventory report on a weekly basis
Purchasing of warranties for the units already sold to clients.
Daily checking of the back order report
Maintaining a record of stock levels. (Stores stock count)
Ordering of new stock
GRV/Receipting of new stock (from supplier)
Handling queries internal and external queries
Assisting other departments in times of urgent queries
Desired Experience & Qualification:
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies:
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Procurement or Logistics
Minimum of 3 years as an Administrator in Procurement in a similar environment.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a procurement department servicing a business unit
Relevant experience in the Telecommunications industry will be beneficial.
Skills:
Organizational and interpersonal skills
Computer skills (SAP. MS word, MS Outlook, Internet & Email).
