MultiChoice Centre of Information & Insights seeks to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated EE candidate, to assume responsibility as a Senior Research Analyst – in the DStv-i Department to take on reporting and data insightsresponsibility for DStv-i South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania and other African territories as the project expands. The incumbent will report to the DStv-i Data Manager, and be based at our offices in Randburg.

  • Tracking of DStv-i viewing trends, linked to local and international events and channel and bouquet changes
  • Providing analysis and data insights
  • Reports and presentations to internal and external clients
  • To work on any ad hoc research analyses as required
  • Validation of DStv-i data
  • Responding to queries and data analysis briefs as and when required COMPETENCIES

  • A sound understanding of the landscape of African markets, television and media industries

  • Preferably competent in 3rd Party Software systems; Telmar, Arianna, InfoSys, Choices
  • 2-3 years work experience in Research, Media or Advertising Agency, Marketing or Analytics.
