Job Title: Senior IT Specialist, Parcel Platform Configuration
Location: Kempton Park

Job Summary:
The purpose of the position is to help implement and manage all operational transport management activitiesin South Africa’s parcel delivery business on BluJay with a specific focus on financials and data analysis.
The engagement will focus on the implementation of the solution in alignment with the BluJay ParcelProgramme’s scope and timelines as well as to be responsible for the long-term management andmaintenance of the solution. Furthermore, there will be a big focus on the integration of new business units(incl. acquisitions) into the platform.
The role will be responsible for the definition, implementation and management of configuration on BPP tomeet business requirements. The primary focus of the role include:

System configuration for business processes
Analysis, monitoring and maintenance of data within the system
Support for reporting and data extracts from the TMS
Testing and support of customer integrations
The position should understand the business requirement and transport process flow and align the BPP’sconfiguration to fulfil the need whilst ensuring standardization of processes, data and systems.
The role will be responsible to ensure that every aspect of the BPP works in accordance with businessexpectation, either by configuration of the product or management of business expectation.
The role will also be expected to support testing efforts in alignment with the standards setup of the solution.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years in IT as either a developer, configuration specialist or systems analyst or a similar role with abusiness relationship management and/or data analysis focus.
Solid SQL experience
Solid Excel experience, specifically wrt data analysis and presentation.
Understanding/ Experience in working and creating process flows and data diagrams

Tertiary Qualification(s):

3 year tertiary qualification,
degree or diploma in IT and / or Industrial Engineering – Essential
Computer Literacy Level
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook – advanced
Additional Computer Skills

Microsoft Excel
PL/SQL or T-SQL.
Oracle SQL
Any TMS product

Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and configuration of operational processes
Understand and configuration of financial processes
End to end ownership of processes in the BPP solution
Perform QA/ UAT tests on configuration
Engage with stakeholders to source requirements
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on output (stakeholder management)
Engage with Vendor where needed for support of the product
Documentation of configuration in standard defined methods
Serve as support to business on the use of the BPP
Support on business visibility of the BPP and data within it, including but not limited to datareconciliations and in-depth data analysis.
