Job Summary:
The Incumbent would be required to process monthly salaries for clients on VIP Payroll system and attend to all related administration.

1.Administration:
-Receives and captures monthly salary inputs to ensure that lawful and accurate deductions and payments are made to employees.
-Month end processing of external payments i.e. PAYE, garnishees, UIF, pension, med aid etc.
-Check Discovery bill against Sage 300 schedule for medical aid adjustments
-Check tax status and structures salaries of all new employees
-Handle salary queries and requests from staff as far as possible
-Printing and distribution of pay slips for staff
-File all paperwork in employee files after payroll.
-Month end General Journal to Sage Evolution
-General Ledger monthly working papers
-Complete STATS SA information, DOL salary schedules (maternity/terminations)

2.Reports:
-Reconcile Sage 300 People reports to external reports
-Print monthly reports on Sage 300 People
-Print and sort salary advice slips to ensure timeous distribution to employees monthly.

3.Sage 300 People:
-Maintenance of Sage 300 People system and filing, etc.
-Data Capturing on Sage 300 People
Requirements
A relevant school leaving certificate
A National Diploma within Payroll
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similiar role
A minimum of 3 years experience working on Sage 300 People
