 BURSARIES FOR STUDYING AT FURTHER EDUCATION & TRAINING (FET) COLLEGES 

Preferred study programmes: 

º   Business and General Study Programmes: 

Secretarial/Administrative; Financial/Business/Marketing Management; Educare; Tourism; Catering/Food/Hospitality Services; Human Resource Management, etc. 

º   Engineering Programmes:     

All Engineering programmes including Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Boilermaking; Millwrights, Plumbing; Diesel Mechanics; Building and Construction, etc. 

Who can apply? SA citizens interested in full-time studies towards an NSC (Vocational) and beyond. 

Preference is given to: 
     º   applicants from rural areas 
     º   applicants who already completed an NSC or already matriculated but who are not yet registered at a college 
     º   current Grade 12 learners intending to register at a college. 

Bursary amount: Studietrust awards partial bursaries based on academic merit and financial need. 

Annual closing date: 31 August for requesting or downloading application forms and 30 September for submitting hard copy and online applications.
