MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Perform quality checks on all deliverables produced for online learning. This involves editing of print and digital material across multiple platforms. Working together with development team to ensure final deliverables maintain highest quality to meet clients expectations.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•Editing and proofing of all course content (course notes, assessments, quizzes)
•Paying particular attention to spelling, grammar, tone, style, consistency and punctuation
•Double checking that names, places and organisations are spelled correctly; facts, dates and statistics are accurate; and conducting plagiarism checks
•Test functionality of eLearning
•Ensure quality of the video content
•Work with Instructional Designers and suggest possible course improvements where possible
•Ensure that all SCORM files are functioning on the LMS
•Ensure quizzes are accurate
•Ensure LMS layout is correct and all deliverables have been loaded
•Create style guides that need to be followed to ensure that writing style and quality across all courses is consistent

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

1.Matric. Suitable tertiary qualification advantageous.
2.1‐2 year experience in a Quality Editing
3.Experience in eLearning industry advantageous
4.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new systems/software
5.Experience with LMS platforms
6.Extensive knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of editing/QA
