Job Summary:
Responsible for adapting a brand strategy for the brand/s target market. As the ‘brand guardian’, the brand managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and may manage a portfolio of brands\
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for managing brands in various markets to deliver business objectives.
•Responsible for implementing marketing strategies that develops and grows the designated brand
•Create and manage the budget and organize resources to meet the brand objectives.
•Responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and implementing of marketing plans/special projects
•To deliver excellent brand marketing execution in a complex, multi-cultural environment that contributes to long term profitable growth.
•New product development, facilitating collection of preliminary data, analyses information and reports data for projects/brand strategies
•Creative campaigns to continue being a market leader and gain market share from competitors.
•Conducts assessments of the products and market and competitive activity and recommends strategy for the marketing plan; promotional plan, and projects schedule process.
•Coordinates and cooperates with Sales, Academics, and Product Managers in launching new products.
•Attends trade shows and industry association meetings.
•Negotiates with outside vendors as appropriate.
•May establish product pricing
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
1.Marketing Degree or relevant qualification
2.Excellent computer literacy is essential especially in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Strategy Development:
•Conduct Market Research
•Analytics of data to identify trends, issues, opportunities for growth and evolvement
•Obtain continuous insights from branches/sites
•Identify opportunities for new product development
Budgets:
•Develop annual budgets
•Monitor and update brand expenditure on a monthly basis
•Re-align budgets to brand targets
•Ensure budget allocation will yield the highest ROI
Stakeholder Relationships:
•Establish relationships with all the business unit stakeholders ( Head of Brand, Campus Managers, Sales Heads, Academic Heads, external service providers)
Marketing Campaigns:
•Development of effective and creative marketing campaigns that contributes to the brand growth
•Ensure all communication and collateral is aligned to the brand values, identity and vision
•Ensure timeous execution of campaigns
•Identify new marketing channels for driving brand awareness and lead generation
