2. EMERGENCY CARE OFFICER: 05 POSTS REF NO: 06931
Directorate: EMS
SALARY : R108 849 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Control Centre Midrand

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 certificate. Basic Ambulance Assistant certificate, valid registration with
HPCSA and previous experience in control centre as a call taker or dispatcher will be an advantage. Good computer skills, Good Communication skills i.e. good speaking manner, prioritization and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES : Perform call taker and dispatcher functions for emergency ambulance and
planned patient transport within the EMS control centre at Midrand. Successful
candidates are expected to work shifts.
