Job Title: Senior Video Wall Operator

Reporting to the Manager: Technical Operations

The Senior Video Wall Operator is responsible for creation and operating sequential graphics for display on the video wall during a live and pre-recorded productions.

1. Preparation
•Prepare the video wall graphics as per running order.
•Loading and testing the rundown
•Ensuring that all the graphics elements are loaded and playout correctly
•Ensuring all spelling for graphics are correct.
•Running on air tests when required.
•Checking all graphics before going to air

2. Production
•Create effects for video wall use
•Route live feeds to the video wall
•Control server playback to the video wall
•Playout video wall elements as per running order

3. Coordination
•Completing graphics requests using provided templates on the Graphic Computers, as per the required standards.
•Operating graphics play-out computers during live and pre-recorded programs.
•Building animations using template driven computer graphics.
•Typing in all titles, supers and credits

4. Design
•Have the ability to design on PhotoShop
•Conceptualise graphical elements for use on the video wall
•Come up with new designs in conjunction with the rest of the graphic team

Requirements
Education: Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design
Languages: Business English
Experience: Minimum of 4 year live television broadcast experience
