Job Description

Recruitment Consultant – JOH0007C
ZA-GT-Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities
Consulting with BUHR’S and Recruitment Managers on resourcing plan.
Obtaining resourcing plans or ad hoc approval confirmation from BUHR’S.
Obtaining salary bands for each position.
Understanding recruiting demands and skills profiles within the relevant Business Unit/s.
Reviewing job specifications and obtain sign off.
Drafting and approving adverts.
Making sure the job profiles/specifications are loaded on Taleo and the internal staff are aware of all vacancies.
Managing the Taleo system.
Briefing agencies.
Contacting networks.
Making use of the AWCA database.
Using creative and innovative sourcing methods to acquire suitable candidates.
Conducting all recruitment and selection activities in line with the Firms’ Recruitment and Employment Equity Policies and relevant legislative requirements.
Screening applications and short-listing candidates.
Conducting competency based interviews.
Conducting work history reference checks.
Presenting short list of interviewed candidates to Line Managers/BUHR Managers to be interviewed.
Researching, negotiating and revising offers.
Presenting offer documents.
Co-ordinating offers and ensuring that contracts are signed.
Informing potential applicants about job or career opportunities in firm.
Compiling weekly recruitment status update reports.
Conducting regular process, database and Recruitment Folder quality checks.
Establishing SLA’S to evaluate our recruitment suppliers
Providing relevant recruitment best practice and remuneration market data information to Management.
Building effective relationships with Business Units and Recruitment Suppliers.
Supervising the Recruitment Administrator.

Qualifications and Experience
A matric and tertiary qualification
HR qualification
Minimum 2-3 years Recruitment experience.

Contributes to and reinforces teamwork within the HR Shared Services (centre of excellence) Centre and across business units.
Able to work within strict time frames and meet deadlines..
