Eskom is a South African electricity public utility, established in 1923 as the Electricity Supply Commission (ESCOM) by the government of South Africa in terms of the Electricity Act (1922). It was also known by its Afrikaans name Elektrisiteitsvoorsieningskommissie (EVKOM). The two acronyms were combined in 1986 and the company is now known as Eskom. Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s) :
Grade 12 + 4 Technical
5 years Power Station related experience
Skills and Competencies

Power plant processes
Technical problem solving
Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise medium term production plan
Coordinate and control activities to meet production targets
Align the master schedule with production targets and minimise production loss (Down Time)
Coordinate the incident investigations that influence / impact production
Provide production advice
Perform any other legitimate activity as required
