Vacancy Details

The successful candidate will be based at a Neighbourhood retail centre in Montclair and will manage the centre by establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with tenants, service contractors and other stake holders, in their role as the landlord’s representative on site.

Management of service providers in order that the building is kept well-maintained, safe, clean and well presented.

Working with the head office based Operations and Portfolio Managers, they will assist with the management of revamps, tenant installations, inspections and general building administration. This position will require an all-rounded property professional.

 

Candidate Requirements

Experience / Education:

  • 2-3 years experience in the property / centre management industry.
  • Minimum qualification Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A Business (marketing) or a property related tertiary qualification would be a recommendation. Retail experience essential.

Skills required:

  • Budgeting & Financial Management, Business writing skills (specs & house rules), People management skills, IT literacy (SAP)
  • Administration skills

Knowledge required:

  • Property / Centre Management industry (basic-intermediate)
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Contract management
  • Elementary financial management
  • Workable knowledge of Company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of lease agreements
  • Understanding of cost budgeting
