Exodus Foundation Ministries South Africa (EFMSA) is a faith-based NGO providing community-based HIV Services including HIV Testing. EFMSA has programmes in the City of Johannesburg, City of Tshwane, eThekwini City Metro and uMgungundlovu district.
Job Title: District HIV Clinical Programme Coordinator
Job Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to all Harry Gwala Sub-Districts team working in communities but collaborating with facilities
- Communicate with Operational Managers (OM’s) in health facilities to ensure that the services provided can meet the demand created
- Provide a broad range of performance data management, proper handling of data and reporting
- Provide administration and take primary responsibility for the day-to-day functioning and coordination of the HIV Prevention services provided in facilities and community level
- Strengthen linkages between the community and the facility
- Review data variables regarding services performed within grant guidelines
- Provide Programme Manager with staff timesheets and leave forms for individual payroll information and/or adjustments
- Work collaboratively with data captures
- Monitor programme performance against target
- Develop and maintain required records, narrative and statistical reports
- Submit weekly plans and weekly reports to the KZN Programmes Manager
Requirements:
- Registered Nursing Qualification and Registration with South African Nursing Council
- Minimum 10 years Nursing experience and HIV Programming at District level
- Minimum five years in management
- Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, TB and STI
- Experience of PMTCT, IMCI and Family planning
- Driver’s license
- Experience in Community Health Programming
- Clear and accurate understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention, linkage to ART, PMTCT and TB/HIV services
- Computer Literate
- Verbal and written communication
- Problem solving skills
- Pay attention to details and deadlines
- Ability to build relationship with internal and external stakeholders
