BTS Singapore requires various personnel with extensive offshore experience and our current requirement is for the positions listed below.

Expatriate Welding Superintendents / Supervisors
Appropriate qualification and welding codes and MUST have SERIMAX Welding Equipment certification
Previous offshore experience as a Superintendent
Extensive experience gained as a Welding Supervisor
Current/valid offshore medical suitable for geographical area of work
Current/valid offshore survival course suitable for geographical area of work

Job Location : Offshore – Africa

Thai or Malaysian Welding Foremen
With appropriate valid welding qualifications and must have previous working experience with SERIMAX Welding equipment
Good command of English and able to supervise and check the quality of work
Previous working experience in West Africa is advantageous and be able to supervise Indian and Thai nationals
Possess current medical report, BOSIET and other offshore papers

Job Location : Offshore – Africa

To be able to understand, interpret instructions received from Offshore Managers and ensure this information is passed on and used as identified

To have supervised teams including team communication, delegation of tasks according to ability and responsibility levels

Extensive knowledge of welding operations including emergency management

To be able to demonstrate knowledge of use of emergency equipment and response in emergency situations including dynamic positioning emergency response

To have an operational understanding of relevant industry legislative requirements and guidance notes

Experience of managing and maintaining the safety of a team during welding operations

Good working knowledge of equipment and techniques required to deliver specifications

To have worked with and be knowledgeable about company safety management systems including Permit to Work, Operations and Safety procedures.

To take responsibility for and manage all the relevant records and document control in support of the welding operations.

Ensure that effective shift handovers including any safe work procedure and explanation of current working conditions take place throughout operations.

Experience of working on a variety of vessels with dynamic positioning across geographical regions as a Supervisor

As this role is responsible for a team of people, the role holder will be expected to have gained substantial experience managing people’s performance including managing teams through change and working in support of people processes. The role holder will be expected to manage, direct, support and guide their direct reports.
