Extrabold hotel management – a Johannesburg based independent hotel management company that expertly manages and operates hotels and resorts under a variety of different international and local hotel brands – is offering  the following exciting internship opportunity to the right candidate! The position is available with immediate effect.

Recent graduates with a Bachelor and/or Honours in Accounting Science, Commerce and Economic Science are invited to apply for the position.

INTERNSHIP- INVESTMENT ANALYST

Job summary – He or she will be assisting with research into investment funds and vehicles in Africa and assist with a benchmarking exercise in respect of hotel funds globally and funds investing into Africa at both a local (SA) and regional level.

Some of the key job deliverables are as follows:

• Conducting research into hospitality focused investment funds globally;
• Conducting research into real estate focused investment funds into Africa;
• Comprehensive benchmarking exercise in terms of: returns, portfolio size and investment criteria
• Initial financial modeling in respect of minimum hotel performance to meet yield requirements

The Intern- Investment Analyst reports into the Managing Director and Development Manager. Remuneration will be in line with experience.

We do not require any specific experience for the position; we just seek a driven individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. Initial appointment will be for a 6-month period, but if the relation is successful, we will certainly investigate the opportunity to further grow you into the organisation.
