F and G Sourcing Specialist is assisting a reputable IT Business Solutions client that is seeking a skilled IT System Administrator (Enterprise Administration Support) to join their branch in Port Elizabeth.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: IT System Administrator (Enterprise) – Hybrid
Location: Port Elizabeth

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
Enterprise administration and support to ensure a functional ICT infrastructure
Manage the effective functioning and availability of network/infrastructure/communication technology and PC services
Manage all customer servers and services and ensure the availability to all users.
Ensure stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems that support the core organisational functions
Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked and associated operating systems
Maintain and Manage all ICT Services
Participate in meetings providing guidance and good practice
Manage and monitor connectivity and ensure satisfactory performance, capacity, and experience
Test, Install and implement new services
Maintenance and Support of Desktop and Server Infrastructure
Lead Desktop and Network team with short- and long-term direction and escalations
Manage, coordinate, and validate ICT backups, replication, DRP and business continuity
Manage user security
Internet reacted security
Manage electronic communication systems
Maintain device baselines in line with the book of standards

Salary:

R30 000 – R40 000 p/m (CTC), inclusive of Medical Aid & Provident Fund

(Depending on current package & experience)

Requirements:

Essential own reliable transport and drivers’ license
Matric (Senior Certificate)
ITIL v2 Foundation certification & experience
Project Management fundamentals
Self-starter with a proven track record
3 years + experience in a System Administrator role, working in medium to large size environments, with experience in the following:

Supporting VMware infrastructure
Operating VEEAM Backup and Replication
Supporting Microsoft Server Infrastructure
Supporting VPN Technologies
Supporting Collaboration Tools (Skype, Teams or similar)
Supporting Office 365
Supporting Microsoft Active Directory
Supporting SAN infrastructure
Network Infrastructure
FortiGate Firewall
Coordinating team delivery as lead and member
