Key Requirements

Must possess a 3-year B.Com degree/ ND Diploma or equivalent completed in Accounting/ Auditing/ Public management/ Supply Chain Management/ Municipal Accounting. Computer literacy; Good communication and analytical skills.

NB: Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of the Big 5 False Bay Local Municipality and/ within uMkhanyakude District Municipality. Please note: No experience is required; the interns will work closely with the CFO. Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old. The MFMP is a structured professional training and work experience programme with the goal of providing high-quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office, which is governed by MFMA Act 56 of 2003 and the underlying reforms.
