Job Title: Finance Clerk (Transport)

Salary: R 176,310.00 – 207,681.00 Annually

Job Summary:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Creating and capture students transport account on Excel and Sage
•Loading of student’s transport payments on Absa Business integrator
•Ensuring all invoices are captured against debit orders
•Managing municipal account’s age analysis and payment terms
•Resolving discrepancies and queries timeously through interaction with suppliers,
•Maintaining a clean set Accounts Payable reconciliation with all relevant documents (i.e. no unresolved items)
•Compiling monthly reports for NSFAS and Sage against general ledger
•Recording and filling of all the documents

Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
•Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) with Accounting
•National Diploma / Degree in Financial Management with Accounting (or similar)
•3-4 years’ experience in local trade Accounts Payable
•General knowledge of Accounting
•Must be computer literate in MS Excel

RECOMMENDATIONS:
•Previous Computer Accounting Programme knowledge and experience
•Experience in the TVET sector
•Knowledge of Tertiary Software Packages (ITS or similar)
