Job Title: Financial Manager: Management Accounting
Location: Muizenberg, Western Cape, South Africa

Salary: R 376,596.00 – 419,679.00 Annually

Job Summary:
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop policies, processes and procedures, financial planning, provide input to the SP, APP, Ops Plan and other College compliance reporting
•Preparation/ co-ordination and monitoring of budget process
•Formulation of projections
•Preparation of monthly BUDGET variance reporting
•Monitor and report on expenditure trends
•Compile monthly management accounts and reports
•Preparation of financial schedules for NSF, CFE and other funders (SETA’s), costing of FBC activities and new projects/ programs
•Any other Finance Ad Hoc duties as requested from time to time

Education And Experience Requirements:

•Grade 12
•Diploma / Degree in Financial Management or Commerce with Accounting/ Diploma/ Degree in Cost and Management Accounting
•Five years’ experience in Finance with specific reference to the Budgeting process
•Three years’ experience in a supervisory position
•Knowledge of GRAP Standards and GRAP Framework
•Advanced Computer skills, i.e, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•Ability to develop templates for the collection of budget information Above Average Report writing
•Communication skills
•Knowledge of using Financial Accounting Packages

RECOMMENDATIONS:
•Have in depth knowledge of the budget preparation process, worked with projects, i.e, SETA’s and National Skills Fund
•Knowledge of Tertiary Software Packages
•Experience in the TVET sector
•Knowledge of the CET Act and applicable legislation
