Our Faurecia Interior Systems branch is looking for a Non Production Purchasing Country Buyer for its Uitenhage, East London and Pretoria plants based in Uitenhage. The role of a Non Production Purchasing Country Buyer (NPP) is to develop the network with internal customers, to identify new needs and to support the implementation process through project management.
The main missions of the role are to:-
Internal customer network:
Develop a network with the internal customers of the country to explain the NPP strategy, identify new and potential improvements to integrate into the commodity strategies.-
Commodity actions:Apply the commodity strategies defined by the Commodity Managers, in order to facilitate the implementation of the negotiated commodity contracts.-
Regional actions:Optimize the local purchases not managed by the commodity team actions and not covered by commodity contracts.Consolidate recurrent local needs, globalize competitve bids, negotiate contracts at country level. Reduce supplier based through consistent contracts.Manage the supplier panel and the supplier performance follow-up, in coordination with the Commodity Manager for commodity suppliers.-
Manage the administrative purchase order process– Apply the methodoly, procedures and IT tools defined and implemented by Group NPP
The ideal candidate will have/be: ▪
Commercial or Industrial Engineering Diploma with – if possible – a specialisation in international purchasing.▪ Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills.▪
Ability to work in a matrixed organisation.▪
Leadership and charisma.
