SALARY : R123 738 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Tara the H Moross Centre (Sandton)

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 with at least one (1) year experience in debt management, patient
administration and revenue collection. Computer literacy (certificate required),
knowledge of PAAB system and UPFS, experience in a hospital environment will
be an added advantage. Good communication skills, written and verbal,
interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be well conversant with PFMA,
Treasury regulations and Dora.


DUTIES : Daily monitoring of age analysis, follow-up on all outstanding debts, tracing of
debtors and accounts. Recommend accounts to be written off and submit the
rejected medical aid account reports to head office. Billing of inpatients, medical
aid accounts and recommend accounts to be handed over to the state attorney.
Clearing of paid up accounts. Identify write offs, incorrect levies, refunds and
filing of tracing files. Compliance with debt management policies, Batho Pele
principles andpatients’ rights charter.
