Finestone SA is looking for a Warehouse Assistant who is qualified and highly organized. Professional, people’s person and skilled with exceptional communication skills to fulfil this respective role. Who are committed to delivering excellence services to join our dedicated maintenance team.

 

Summary purpose/expectations:

The purpose of the role is responsible for all warehouse operations, handling and manage all goods. The respective position involves multiple duties to maintain an organized warehouse with efficient and effective inventory operations.

Key Deliverables:

Warehouse:

• Receive and manage in/out incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the delivery against the accompanying documents.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Inspect and report any damages or discrepancies.
• Arrange, label & store stock for easy retrieval.
• Handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure regular stock counts and assist with inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.
• Arrange stock methodically to adjust storage capacity.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure safety procedures and equipment are maintained.
• Ensure a health and safe work environment.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements: 

Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position: 

• Grade 12.
• Relevant Warehouse experience.
• Valid Forklift & Overhead Crane licenses.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of granite products.
• Must be able to work on heights.

General:
