This is a position for an independent contractor
Position is ideal for someone who would enjoy the flexibility of taking assignments as it suits them
This is not full-time employment and we cannot guarantee the number of assignments per month.
The Minute Taker provides quality, expert minute-taking, ensuring accurate record of discussions, decisions and agreed outcomes at a meeting which can be used for future reference. The role will be to accurately understand and summarise the meeting topics and their outcomes, in a clear, concise, and objective manner.
Job Title: Minutes Secretary & Reviewer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Accurately transcribe minutes from a recording; and/or
Attend meetings as and when required;
Tertiary qualification recommended and would be advantageous
Excellent command of and fluency in the English language, both written and verbal;
Relevant corporate experience (min: 5 years) – listed and private companies, Trusts, SOE’s and NPC’s
Proven ability for drafting minutes for a variety of meetings (min: 5 years).
Technical minute-taking tests will be conducted upon application;
Strong drafting (the ability to take meeting minutes) and administrative skills with attention to detail;
Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Financial Services, Accounting/Auditing, Insurance, IT & Telecomms,
Public Sector, Media, Advertising & Marketing, Medical, Health & Social Care, Mining/Engineering, Property Development, Construction, Science & Scientific Research;
A solid understanding of business and financial matters and terminology.
Highly proficient in English.
Strong business writing skills and keen attention to detail.
Organised and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Reliable, good work ethic and good communicator.
