Job Title: DAM OPERATOR
Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo, South Africa

Job Summary:
To ensure that there is good Supervision and operational excellence and compliance on site .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and coordinate the shift .

Perform Inspections on designated area of responsibility every day.

Effective involvement in planning ,controlling ,leading and organizing functions of operations on daily basis .

Follow work instructions given by the Superior for any specific task in line with operational requirements .

Assist with the problems solving on operational challenges and, report any deviations to the immediate Superior.

Adhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the Company’s Policies and Procedures.

Effective management of discipline and performance of the team .

Manage company property and assets in a good manner

Ensure good housekeeping at all times and good team work .

Adhere to all Safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures.

Ensure that employees are working safely and wear correct PPE .

Conduct toolbox talk meetings and ensure risk assessment for any task is done with the team .

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS :

Grade 12

Drivers License

Any Supervisory certificate or tertiary related qualification will be advantageous

EXPERIENCE :

At least 3 years in operations with 2 years in supervisory capacity

SKILLS, QUALITIES and ABILITIES REQUIRED :

Good communication skills

Self discipline ,

Good leadership skills,

Ability to work under pressure and good team work values .

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Medically Fit

No criminal record
