Job Title: Fitter Aide
Location: Ermelo, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Contract Type: Temporary
6 Months
Salary: Market Related

Job Summary:
To assist in ensuring safe efficient maintenance

Do general and maintenance/repairs.

Attend pre-shift meetings

Report unsafe conditions and -behaviour

Adhere to FAMP and client policies and procedures

Assist the artisan with maintenance tasks e.g. change panels and sieve bends/cutting of skirting

Inspect all equipment/tools and default reports in area of responsibility

Report all faults and problems to artisan

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or N3

EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years’ experience in mining or construction and related to engineering & maintenance

SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES:
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Physically fit to do the work.
Emotional intelligence
Listening skills
Visibility on site

GENERAL REQUIREMENT:
Fitness certification
Local community
Vaccinated for covid-19
