Free job readiness programme available

Imsimbi Training will commence its next intake for the two-month free job readiness programme to help young people become eligible for job roles.

The programme contains a combination of hard and soft skills training to prepare students for the job market.

The training will run from 22 August to 7 October 2016.

Interested parties have until 16 August to apply.

Life skills such as emotional intelligence, personal mastery and effective communication form part of the course and complement the more technical areas of learning such as business writing, Microsoft Office, call centre and telephone etiquette training.

“These skills equip them for data-capturing clerical positions, which would include call centres within the banking and insurance industries’, says Imsimbi Director Peter Sadie.

Other skills that participants will learn include Hiv/Aids peer education, customer service, sales and presentation skills.

What will this Programme give you?

1. Job-Readiness Skills as per above and IT Skills

2. CV Preparation, Interview Skills & Preparation

Requirements:

o Ability to Speak and Understand English
o Capacity to be Focused and Committed to studying and submitting 6 assignments
o Classes are from Monday to Friday 08h00 – 16h30 each day
o A commitment to attend classes each day (for two months)

o Live in Johannesburg/ Gauteng province
