Vacancy Details

Well established company on the West Rand is looking for a Production Supervisor with blow moulding experience

 

Minimum Requirements 

• Diploma in electrical / mechanical advantageous
• Qualified Artisan
• Minimum two years experience in supervising production in a blow moulding industry
• Willing to work shifts

Responsibilities

• Follow leader standard to ensure all tasks are executed as per plan
• Plan, organise, lead and control the 4M’s of production (man, machine, materials and methods management)
• Ensure that shopware is updated hourly
• Manage shift handover
•  Use overall equipment effectiveness to calculate plant performance
• Ensure compliance to health and safety requirements
• Compile daily shift reports and report poor performance, breakdowns and non-conformities to Production Manager
• Eliminate production of scrap
• Train blow mould packers
• Supervise and train Blow Mould Packers, Material Mixers and Wrappers
