A leading business solutions company are looking for a dynamic, experienced divisional IT Manager/ Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business, as well as for their clients. They will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitoring and identifying relevant hardware, software and service issues
Troubleshooting and resolving relevant hardware, software and service issues
Improving and optimising daily support and maintenance tasks
Designing and implementing new technology solutions
Maintaining and improving the efficiency of current networks and systems.
Consideration and creation of contingency plans for relevant tasks
Designing, implementing and maintaining the security of all ICT systems
Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications.
Experience using TCP/IP networking, Ethernet and wireless.
Desktop support on Windows and Linux
Firewall Support and creation
Understanding of DHCP and DNS protocol.
Connectivity technologies; ADSL, 3G/LTE, Fibre.
Email and its protocols; Exchange, POP3, SMTP.
Experience using remote desktop software (E.g.; RDP, TeamViewer).
Ability to make use of backup and recovery technologies.
Windows Server deployment & administration
Microsoft Azure experience and high-level knowledge is needed
Microsoft Office 365 experience and high-level knowledge
Mentoring and supporting team members
Establishing internal and external business expectations
Provide the team with a vision of divisional and organisational objectives
Design and implementation of processes and industry best practices
Ensure process compliance is adhered to within the team
Managing technical project risks and change requests
Management of external suppliers and partners for quality and vision alignment
Attaining budgets set forth for the division
Reporting on teams KPI via the ticketing system

Desired Experience & Qualification:
5+ years’ experience in a managerial position.
Driver’s license and own transport.
Senior certificate or equivalent.
IT diploma and/or Microsoft, CompTIA, or relevant qualifications.
Eg.; A+, N+, MCSA, MCSE, CCENT, Security +, Linux.
Working experience in technical support.
Working experience in a telecom or ISP environment.
