Do plant walk downs, including a comprehensive visual inspection of the plant on at least a monthly basis checking the correct operation of all necessary parts of the turbine and auxiliary systems.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Investigate and report on turbine occurrences
- Offer advise when informed of an excursion on plant performance
- Advise on the required turbine history recording, such as running hours and start/stop, etc.
- Advice, specification and provision of procedures to enable the Employer to re-commission turbine plant and auxiliaries, particularly following major outage work, including attendance during return to service of turbine plant to provide “on the spot” advice if so required
- Recommend scope of work for all major planned outages
- Determination of the maintenance requirement and the scope of work, prior to general overhauls, and specialist services required from the Consultant
- Identification and optimisation of spares to be held to support planned overhauls and other maintenance
Qualifications/Requirements:
- B-Eng/BSc Mechanical Engineering/ or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Who possess an S4 and looking for in-service training ( P2) in Electrical Engineering Technical training
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Certificate in Business Administration
- Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
