Job Purpose:
Project manage, validate and expand on the existing Just Enough and ONE Reporting Tools Platforms.
Scope:
-Ensure that key deliverables for Just Enough are met within the prescribed time frames and are accurate through collaboration with sales, IT and Just Enough SA (Pty) Ltd
-Act as Super User of Just Enough and support the sales team with any queries they may have
-Expand the capabilities of Just Enough over and above the current scope in order to provide valueable feedback to the business
-Manage the ONE Reporting Tool and assist the Africa Finance Business Partner accordingly
-To provide financial support to the monthly forecasting processes as well as the annual forecasting and budgeting processes.
-To provide financial control and monthly analysis of actual results vs budgets and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
-Support the Lead Business partner to add value to the commercial organisation while keeping in mind relevant risks and ensuring risk and opportunity are balanced at all times.
-Validate that all information coming back from Just Enough is accurate & in line with GSK’s detailed requirements
– Ensure that Just Enough meets the deadlines set out by GSK
-Continuous feedback to the business regarding progress of Just Enough (IT, contracts, developments, quotation approvals, etc)
-Apply Commercial Acumen to expand on the current capabilities of Just Enough to provide value adding reports to the Commercial Business
-As Super User of Just Enough responsibilities will include: Training of new users; resolving queries of existing users; managing access of users
-Provide monthly commentary on Management Pack as required
-Liaison with Account Managers, Channel Heads and Sales Director to review and feedback on all reports, existing and future
-Prepare Gross to Net P&L on a monthly basis with feedback to Lead Business Partner
-Set up performance evaluation measures within Just Enough
-Implement controls between Just Enough and other programmes/processes
-Ensure that other business units update Just Enough accordingly when standards are changed
-Ensure that trade spend loaded on Just Enough agrees back to signed Customer Trading Agreements
-Provide financial support to the Commercial Finance team as required
-Assistance with sales forecasting
-Compile reports on the ONE reporting tool in line the Commercial Business’ needs
-Working on ad-hoc projects
-Preparing ad-hoc reports and analysis for Africa/EMEA Region
-Provide information and assist with internal and external audits.
-Ensure that there are SOPs/knowledge documents to support the systems and processes
-Live the GSK values of integrity, transparency, customer first and respect
Qualifications, Experience
Completed B.Com
FMCG experience preferential
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Competencies Knowledge:
An understanding of how IT systems function, e.g. cubes, master data, functionality, etc
Complexity:
The role requires sounds commercial ability as well as working cross functionally and strict deadlines.
Independent Thinking:
The role requires independent thinking and discussion with the various stakeholders across the business
Responsibility:
Responsible for the delivery of a vital business tool
Annual Strategic Planning:
Assist with the planning process within the company with the other business partners and commercial business.
