Our client is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are primarily focused in the Mobile & Telecommunications sector. They are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Title: Senior PHP Developer (Remote or Hybrid)
Location: Cape Town

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Opportunity to work in a high transactional environment with high availability and low tolerance for downtime.
• Opportunity to work with various API’s (SOAP, REST) and protocols (HTTP, SMPP).
• Opportunity to work with and improve CI/CD pipelines for applications.
• Implementing API integrations with new Mobile networks or partners.
• Exposure to highly skilled team members to fast-track upskilling in various areas.
• Designing and building new features in existing applications or new services.
• Conduct maintenance, refactoring, bug fixes or respond to firing alerts in existing applications.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Educational Requirements:
• Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
• IT / related tertiary qualification

Technical Experience and Skills Required:
• Expert knowledge of PHP.
• Be familiar with Docker, MySQL, Microservice Environments.
• Advantageous, but not required: K8s, SOAP, and SMPP.
