Working with creative, media, strategic planning, digital and search agencies, our Agency Relationships team evangelizes the benefits of search marketing and explains how our products can enhance customers’ campaign strategies.

The role: Agency Relationship Manager

As a Google Agency Relationship Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with agency representatives, serve as their ambassador within Google, evangelize new Google products and technologies throughout the agency, identify sales and business- development opportunities, and develop and manage strong relationships with agency influencers and decision-makers. Your objectives are to develop new business opportunities, increase existing business to maximize revenue, support Google’s Sales team with research, market analysis and other critical information, and be responsive to all agency needs. You’ll also collaborate with Google’s Direct Sales teams to exchange knowledge regarding client needs in specific industry sectors. Among your many attributes, you are persuasive, gregarious, self-starting, a natural leader and skilled at solving problems and explaining complex issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a national strategy for agencies in conjunction with the overall Google strategy.
  • Work closely with our clients to deliver solutions that solve our clients’ business challenges and cultivate strong relationships with senior executives through both in-person meetings and other communication channels.
  • Create revenue strategies, account plans and business processes for dedicated account management and identify opportunities for growth of the industry programs.
  • Develop industry-specific web and communication strategies as well as implement cross-product promotion strategy for Google products.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree preferred, MBA a plus.
  • Strong online sales and business development experience with established relationships and presence within the agency marketplace.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills as well as excellent creative written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market, in an organization and along a buy cycle as well as strong analytical skills with a focus on products, companies and market dynamics.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and experience presenting to corporate audiences and a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
